Dr. Samuel Königshofen


Patent attorney Dr. Samuel Königshofen has been working at the firm's Düsseldorf office since 2019 and has since gained extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property law. One focus is on the filing and defense of national and international patents and utility models, in particular in the fields of automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering, mechanics and materials science. He is also handling registrations of national and international trademarks and designs.

Professional experience

Dr. Königshofen studied physics at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf with a focus on laser/plasma interaction and solid-state physics. During his time as a doctoral student at the renowned Forschungszentrum Jülich, Dr. Königshofen conducted research on the interaction between organic molecules and magnetic thin-film systems. Within the framework of the Jülich model, Dr. Königshofen received his doctorate from the Institute of Physics at the University of Cologne.
